Engineering Physics graduate with a Minor in Nuclear Engineering, passionate about power and nuclear engineering. Background in thermal analysis, FEA, embedded control systems, and cloud infrastructure.
I'm an Engineering Physics graduate from McMaster University with a Minor in Nuclear Engineering, currently making the transition into power systems and nuclear engineering. My academic background spans thermodynamics, reactor theory, power plant systems, electromagnetics, and control systems, paired with hands-on experience in FEA, CAD design, and embedded systems.
My capstone project, a self-regulating modular greenhouse, required integrated analysis across thermal physics, structural mechanics, and embedded control systems, and is the most complete demonstration of how I approach engineering problems: model first, build second, validate both.
I also have 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering and AWS cloud infrastructure, which gives me a practical edge in roles that sit at the intersection of physical engineering and digital systems: SCADA, energy management, digital instrumentation and control.
